RusPost LTD – Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these terms, the following definitions apply:
“Consignment” or “Parcel” – one or more parcels to be delivered by the Company from sender to recipient address.
“Client” – a person or business representative booking via www.ruspost.co.uk and contracting with RusPost LTD for collection and delivery.
“Recipient” – the person or business representative receiving the consignment.
“Third Party Courier” – a carrier partner or other external delivery provider engaged by RusPost LTD.

2. Shipping Contract

RusPost LTD arranges collection and delivery using its own network or Third Party Couriers. We may change, remove, or introduce services and prices without prior notice. All queries or claims must be sent to inforuspost@protonmail.com. Tracking is available via the Client’s online account.

3. Client Obligations

- Complete accurate customs declaration forms including weight, dimensions, contents, and addresses.
- Ensure all address details are complete and correct. Returns due to incorrect details will incur additional charges and no refund.
- Declare accurate parcel weight; differences will result in an extra invoice plus £2.50 admin fee.
- Use secure packaging (double-wall cardboard recommended) and attach full address and provided labels.
- Comply with destination country legislation and avoid shipping prohibited or dangerous goods.
- Pay all invoices within 24 hours of issue.

4. Customs Inspection

All consignments outside the EU are subject to customs clearance. Clients must supply any required documentation. Customs or authorities may open, inspect, detain, confiscate, or destroy goods, and may dispose of restricted items. Duties/taxes must be paid before delivery. If unpaid, consignments may be returned at the Client’s expense. Security screening (including x-ray) may be applied.

4A. Sanctions, Export Control & Compliance

The Client is solely responsible for ensuring shipments comply with all applicable sanctions, export controls, and customs laws of the UK, EU, origin, transit, and destination countries. The Client must check sanctions lists before shipping:

Restrictions can apply to goods, destination country, recipient, manufacturer, or end use. RusPost LTD accepts no liability for delays, confiscations, destruction, or returns due to sanctions breaches. No refund will be given in such cases, and all associated costs (return, storage, disposal, re-shipment) must be paid by the Client. RusPost LTD may refuse or suspend shipments suspected of violating sanctions and may share Client/shipment data with authorities.

5. Collections & Delivery

Dates/times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Using any labels other than those provided voids transit cover. Max weight: 20 kg actual, 30 kg volumetric.

6. Payment

Payment is via PayPal or bank transfer only. No cash, phone, or postal payments accepted. Shipments are dispatched only after full payment, which constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

7. Surcharges

All parcels are checked on arrival for weight/dimensions. Exceeding declared figures will incur additional charges.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns are a paid service. No refunds for returns caused by customs or sanctions violations. All return, storage, and disposal costs are the Client’s responsibility.

9. Claims & Liability

Basic cover: USD 100 (loss only). Optional insurance: 3% of declared value (loss only). Fragile items excluded. Claims require proof of value and must be submitted within:
- 7 days for loss/damage
- 14 days for delays exceeding 60 days
No claims for events such as force majeure, war, poor packaging, or missing labels.

10. Force Majeure

No liability for delays/failures caused by events beyond control (natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions).

11. Personal Data

Data processed per UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Limitation of Liability

RusPost LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from use of services, third-party actions, customs, sanctions, or force majeure.

13. Confirmation of Agreement

Using our services confirms you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

14. Severability

If any term is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.

15. Governing Language

These Terms are in English. Translations are for convenience; English prevails.
