Prohibited & Restricted Goods
To ensure compliance with UK law, international sanctions and customs regulations, RusPost cannot transport certain items.
The following goods are prohibited or may be subject to restrictions:
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition and explosives
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances
- Hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods
- Counterfeit or illegal goods
- Cash, precious metals and loose gemstones
- Live animals
- Certain medicines and veterinary products
- Pet food, animal feed and products of animal origin where import restrictions apply
- Meat, dairy products, fish, eggs and honey
- Plants, seeds, soil and other goods subject to veterinary or phytosanitary controls
- Lithium batteries and other dangerous goods
- Goods restricted or prohibited under UK sanctions, export controls or the import laws of the destination country
Some items may require export licences, import permits, veterinary certificates, phytosanitary certificates or other official documentation.
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that every shipment complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the import requirements of the destination country.
RusPost reserves the right to refuse, inspect, delay, return or cancel any shipment that may breach legal requirements, carrier restrictions or our internal operational policies.
